Playing at the 38th Lotus Festival was very special to me. I’d like to Thank the City Of Los Angeles and the 13th Council Districts and council members Mitch O'Farrell, Gilbert A. Cedillo and David E. Ryu, for recognizing me for my 4th year commitment to the Echo Park Community and the City of Los Angeles to our common goal of making our City a better place in which to live, work and play. Thank you so much for presenting me with this Award for my contribution to "Make Music Day", a celebration of music around the world. There were 800 cities and 120 countries performing music on the same day. It was an honor to be selected to represent Los Angeles, and to meet everyone at the Italian Institute of Culture.
